HOUR OF PENANCE Announce Album Details and Launch Pre-order
Wednesday, January 25th, 2012Italian death metal band HOUR OF PENANCE have announced “Sedition” as the title of their Prosthetic Records’ debut, and fifth album overall. “Sedition” will be released March 27 in North America, April 2 in the UK and April 6 in mainland Europe. I EXIST Post Video Teaser, New Album Out Next Week
Wednesday, January 25th, 2012Australia’s I EXIST has posted a video teaser for their forthcoming release, “II: The Broken Passage,” due out January 31st in North America and February 6th and February 10th in the UK and Europe, respectively, on Lost Shepherd/Prosthetic Records. The album was released via Resist Records in their home country over the summer. Check out the video, now. Lost Shepherd has launched pre-order for the CD; a T-shirt and CD/shirt bundle are also available. The Resist Records’ version of the LP is also up at the PROSTHETIC STORE.
PRIMITIVE WEAPONS Debut New Track
Wednesday, January 25th, 2012PRIMITIVE WEAPONS have debuted the track, “Quitters Anthem,” exclusively at Pitchfork.com. These New Yorkers, who bridge the gap between dissonant hardcore, sludgy AmRep style chaos and modern doom, will release their debut album, “The Shadow Gallery,” via Prosthetic Records, on March 13th in North America, March 19th in the UK and March 23rd in mainland Europe. The album was recorded at Wild Arctic Studios with Dean Baltolunis, ( American Nightmare, Goes Cube,The Hold Steady).
